流行りのハンガーボードは絶対よ。
レンジまわりは白いタイル張りにして、
食器棚も真っ白にする。
ステンレス製のシンクは位置にこだわっているの、
最新のディスポーザーもつけるわ。
ガラス製の吊棚とタオル掛け。
ほら、ここから庭が見えるでしょ。
木々の緑がガラスに透けて、きっときれいなはずよ。
いいえ、台所じゃないわ。
そう、キッチン。
私のキッチンよ。
第二次世界大戦以降、特に高度経済成長期を通じて、日本人の生活様式や住宅の建築方法は大きく変化し、それに伴って住宅のスタイルも劇的に変わった。
祖母の台所には昭和時代の特徴が今も残っている。私はその台所を受け継ぐつもりだ。

Since World War II, and especially during the period of rapid economic growth, Japanese lifestyles and methods of house construction have changed significantly, leading to dramatic shifts in architectural styles.
My grandma's kitchen still retains some features from the Showa era... and I intend to inherit it.
